Ford Stamping Plant to bring 250 new jobs to Liberty
Ford Motor Company’s announcement that it is investing $1.1 billion in its Kansas City assembly plant is great news for Liberty. Ford will invest more than $100 million in a new integrated stamping plant in Liberty as part of its $1.1 billion investment.

Automotive Parts Assembly Plant under Construction in Liberty
LMV Automotive Systems, a company that will supply welded underbody assemblies to Ford Motor Company’s Claycomo plant, is under construction in Liberty. The company chose Liberty to build their 212,550 square foot facility in Heartland Meadows Industrial Park. LMV Automotive System is scheduled to complete the project in November 2012 and be operational in the first quarter of 2013. The assembly plant will bring 156 jobs to the Liberty area.
